Special Announcement -ECM 11-Part Series on the Passion of the Christ for Lent
Hello and welcome to the EveryCatholicMan.com Bible Study Podcast!
This is a special announcement about the 2025 11-Part EveryCatholicMan.com Series on the Passion of the Christ.
Lent—meaning “long days”—is an ancient 40-day liturgical pilgrimage that begins on Ash Wednesday when ashes remind us of our unavoidable death. It prepares us for Easter and eternal life in Christ. During Lent, we recall Jesus’ 40 days of fasting and prayer in the desert before His public ministry. Every Catholic man is called to deep repentance, prayer, and fasting, remembering that life is short and must serve God faithfully with the time he has been given.
Lent is also a time for sacrificial discipline. Every Catholic man is challenged to take on a strenuous Lenten vow, heroically setting aside comfort and self-indulgence to imitate Jesus Christ’s Supreme Sacrifice on the Cross and grow closer to Him.
As a Catholic man, you are already familiar with the Passion of the Christ, proclaimed in its entirety on Palm Sunday and Good Friday.
This year, instead of hearing the complete Passion account all at once, the EveryCatholicMan.com Passion of the Christ Series breaks it into 11 powerful episodes. Each episode helps you go deeper into Christ’s Passion, with two reflections to help you grow in holiness and happiness.
Each of the 11 parts follows the concise, impactful approach of all EveryCatholicMan.com podcasts:
Each day in The Every Catholic Man Series on the Passion of the Christ, you will hear:
•The daily Gospel from the Mass
•A short commentary for deeper understanding
•Reflections on how to be more awed by Jesus Christ’s Passion
•Two guided reflections to help a man grow in holiness and happiness through the Gospel
•Extensive Catechism references and action-focused prayers to seek God’s help
Look for the EveryCatholicMan.com 11-Part Passion of the Christ Series, available starting Ash Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
